In this article, the advanced design technology of Lowpowered Digital Strong Motion Accelerograph that is mainly used DSP and CPLD is introduced. The system structure block is presented and lowpowered solutions in hardware and software design is described．Finally the article gives the conclusion that the system can satisfy the need of strong motion observation in freevspace field and structure．
