The problems in current multi-separation array were analyzed in this paper. Based on the analysis, a new multi-separation array observation system and a new type of electrode controller based on CAN bus were developed. And the main feature, principle, hardware structure and communication protocols of the electrode controller were introduced in detail. Finally, through a series of tests in lab, the results shown that this electrode controller was stable and reliable，the specifications could match the demands of multi-separation array system.
