By using the quantitative relationship between the well water level change and the earthquake magnitude, the epicentral distance, this paper statistically investigated co-seismic water level step characteristics of Anxi-1 well, Fujian province. It means that the rainfall loading, which might change the local tectonic stress state within the well area，can make an influence on co-seismic water level changes.
