Through the analysis of the co-seismic changes of water level and water temperature of well observation network in Shanxi province to Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake and Japan Ms9.0 earthquake, the results show that different water level and temperature level have different responding to same earthquake.This indicates that the same seismic can cause different response characteristics at the different observation wells. Contrasted the twice responding characteristic of different well in Shanxi to Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake and Japan Ms9.0 earthquake, we find that there are not particular changing pattern of the fixed observation well. This may be related to the local geological structure, hydro-geological conditions and observing the aquifer depth and earthquake type.
