we analyzed the relationship between apparent resistivity at Longyao station and groundwater level by using the method of Linear regression．The results show that it is well correlated between earth resistivity and groundwater level, and the ascent of water level can cause the apparent resistivity to rise. Through the investigation of groundwater at Longyao region, we find that the falling of groundwater level is caused by the reducing of annual rainfall and the increasing of agricultural water.
