利用河南省区域地震台网的近震波形资料，采用近震时间域方法反演2010年10月24日16点58分太康M_S4.6地震的地震矩张量，结果显示，该地震为走滑型地震。结合震后灾害考察，认为太康地震发生在周口—太康断裂上。

On October 24,2010，a magnitude M_s 4.6 earthquake occurred in the region of Taikang in Henan province. To understand the seism tectonics of this event, we try to relocate it and further study its focal mechanism based on the local broadband waveform data of available stations in Henanprovince regional seismic networks. The focal mechanism solution was determined by the TDMT-INVC method. The results indicate that the Taikang earthquake is a strike-slip event. According to the epicenter and the focal mechanism，Taikang earthquake occurred on the Xuchang-Taikang Fault.
