2013年4月22日内蒙古通辽市科尔沁左翼后旗、辽宁阜新市彰武县交界发生了5.3级地震。震中位于松辽盆地西部，虽然该区域有多条断裂存在，均为没有出露地表的隐伏断裂，当地沉积盖层较厚，断裂及其活动性研究程度不高。因此，研究发震构造主要根据地震资料。分析地震序列震中分布、震源机制及烈度考察极震区长轴方向均为近东西方向，与横贯震区的养畜河断裂走向一致，综合判定该断裂是5.3级地震的发震构造。

On April 22,2013, an M5.3 earthquake occurred in the border states between Horqin Left Back Banner, Inner Mongolia and Zhangwu County，Fuxin city, Liaoning province, with an epicenter in the western slope of Songliao. With a thick cover, several underground faults are distributed in this area, and the study of earthquake activity in this area is limited. Therefore, the study of seismogenic structure is based on seismic data. The earthquake sequence is mainly in east west direction and the strike is 105°. The meizoseismal region is in east west direction, in accordance with the YangxuRiverfault. Taking these aspects into consideration, theYangxuRiverfault is the main seismogenic structure of this earthquake.
