在地震震级国家标准GB17740—2017《地震震级的规定》发布以后,收集整理2016—2021年呼和浩特地震监测中心站记录的726个地震面波震级MS(HHC),与中国地震台网中心地震目录中给定的面波震级MS(CENC)进行比较,统计二者间偏差,分析震级偏差与震级、震中距、方位角间的关系。结果表明,呼和浩特地震监测中心站测定的面波震级MS为4.0 — 8.9,与中国地震台网中心的相比,震级偏大;震级偏差平均值小于0.2,符合规范要求,其中,10°≤Δ<30°、30°≤Δ<60°区间为震中距最优区间;震中位于呼和浩特地震监测中心站西南方向的地震,震级偏差较大,而东北、东南方向的偏差较小,由于数据较少西北方向无法判断是否有影响。
After the issuance of the National Standard for Earthquake Magnitude (GB17740-2017), we collected 726 surface wave magnitudes MS(HHC) recorded by Hohhot Earthquake Monitoring Center Station from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2021. We compared these magnitudes with the surface wave magnitudes MS(CENC) provided by the China Earthquake Networks Center, and calculated the deviation values. We then analyzed the relationship between magnitude deviation and magnitude, epicentral distance and azimuth using statistical methods. The results show that the surface wave magnitudes measured by Hohhot Seismic Monitoring Center Station are smaller than the magnitudes published by China Earthquake Networks Center, and the average deviation is smaller than 0.2, which falls within the range of regularity. The best ranges for epicentral distance are between 10° and 30°, and between 30° and 60°, and the magnitude deviation has a strong correlation with the epicentral distance. The magnitude deviation is large for earthquakeswith an epicenter located in the southwest of Hohhot Seismic Station, while it is small for earthquakes in the northeast and southeast directions.Due to a lack of data, it is not possible to determine whether the deviation has an impact in the northwest direction.
